Uncomfortably Perfect

by JamesLee Pepler

After doing everything that can be done…

“Things still aren’t perfect!”

“There’s no such thing as perfect.”

——

“Things can always be better!”

“Things can always be worse.”

“Can both be true at the same time?”

——

Appreciate both in their painfully beautiful contrast.

“Things are the way they are.”

Have no judgments.

No expectations.

——

Some acceptance is perfectly uncomfortable.

Full acceptance is uncomfortably perfect.
